Please read these Terms carefully.
They include important provisions that limit our liability and require disputes to be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not class actions. By using the Site you agree to these Terms.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Epic Web Solutions, the operator of GroomerJob.com (the "Site," "we," "us," or "GroomerJob"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Site, including any services, tools, content, job listings, directory pages, applications, and features made available through the Site (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility & Account Registration
You must be at least 16 years old, and at least the age of majority in your state of residence, to use the Services. By using the Services you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement, that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you will keep it up to date.
Some features require you to register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity on your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our discretion.
The Services are intended for use in the United States. We make no representation that the Services are appropriate or available in other jurisdictions.
2. Description of Services
GroomerJob is an online job board and business directory focused on the dog grooming industry. Through the Services we may, among other things:
- Aggregate and display job listings from public sources, feeds, and employer partners;
- Allow employers to claim, create, and manage directory profiles and job listings;
- Allow job seekers to search for positions, submit applications, and share contact information with employers;
- Provide informational content, blogs, salary data, career guides, and related resources;
- Connect job seekers with affiliated services, including GroomForce.com.
We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time without notice.
3. Terms for Job Seekers
If you use the Services as a job seeker:
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide in applications, resumes, cover letters, profiles, and communications with employers.
- You authorize us to transmit your application materials to the employer associated with each listing you apply to, and to share your information with GroomForce.com and other affiliated services as described in our Privacy Policy.
- GroomerJob does not employ you, guarantee you an interview or a job, screen employers for legitimacy, or verify job listings. Hiring decisions are made solely by the employer.
- You are responsible for evaluating employers, the terms of any offer, and any communications you receive in response to your application.
- Do not submit false, misleading, plagiarized, or third-party materials as your own.
4. Terms for Employers & Directory Listings
If you use the Services as an employer, salon owner, franchisee, hiring manager, or their agent ("Employer"):
- You represent that you have authority to post jobs and manage listings on behalf of the employing entity.
- Job postings must be for bona fide, currently open positions. You must not post misleading titles, bait-and-switch roles, multi-level marketing opportunities, or listings for businesses you do not operate.
- Postings must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including those prohibiting discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other protected characteristic.
- You must not post jobs that require unlawful fees from applicants, collect sensitive personal information in excess of what is needed, or solicit applicants for unrelated products or services.
- Directory profiles and salon pages on GroomerJob may include information we have compiled from public sources, including business names, addresses, phone numbers, hours, and publicly available review content. You may claim your listing to manage it directly, subject to our verification process.
- Once a listing is claimed, you may update certain fields as permitted by the claim controls. Core identity and location fields may remain locked and may only be changed by contacting us.
- We reserve the right to reject, edit, relocate, suspend, or remove any listing or directory profile at any time for any reason, including suspected inaccuracy, policy violation, or low quality.
5. Aggregated & Third-Party Job Listings
Many listings on the Site are aggregated from public sources, company career pages, RSS feeds, and third-party job boards. These listings are provided for your convenience and are not screened or verified by GroomerJob. We make no representation that any listing is current, accurate, lawful, or available, and we are not responsible for content provided by third parties. If you are the owner of a listing and want it removed, please contact us.
6. User Content & License to GroomerJob
"User Content" means any content you submit, upload, or display through the Services, including job postings, directory information, profile text, logos, photos, reviews, application materials, and messages.
You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant GroomerJob a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating, providing, and promoting the Services and related services (including GroomForce.com). This license survives your deletion of User Content to the extent reasonably necessary to support backups, legal compliance, and historical records.
You represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all rights necessary to grant this license, and that your User Content does not infringe the rights of any third party or violate any law.
7. Reviews & Ratings
The Site may display ratings and reviews, including reviews imported from Google or other public sources and reviews submitted by users. Reviews reflect the opinions of their authors, not GroomerJob. We do not independently verify reviews and are not responsible for their content. We may moderate, edit, or remove reviews that violate these Terms or our content guidelines, including those that are defamatory, fraudulent, off-topic, or contain personal information, but we have no obligation to do so.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to, and not to attempt to:
- Use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, harassing, or abusive;
- Submit false, misleading, or defamatory content;
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Post job listings for positions that do not exist, or that violate applicable employment laws;
- Harvest, scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Site except via publicly documented feeds, and only in compliance with our robots.txt and rate limits;
- Send unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or chain communications to users or employers;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services, probe for vulnerabilities, circumvent rate limits or access controls, or introduce malware;
- Use the Services to collect personally identifying information about other users for any purpose other than legitimate hiring;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except as permitted by law;
- Use the Services to train any machine learning model or build a competing product without our prior written consent.
9. Fees, Payments & Paid Features
Basic use of the Services, including posting and applying for jobs, is currently free. We may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or premium listings in the future. If you purchase a paid feature, the terms disclosed at checkout (price, billing frequency, cancellation terms, and refund policy) are incorporated into these Terms. Unless stated otherwise, all fees are non-refundable. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
10. Intellectual Property
The Services, including all software, design, text, graphics, logos, and compilations of data, are owned by or licensed to GroomerJob and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for their intended purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
"GroomerJob," the GroomerJob logo, and related marks are trademarks of Epic Web Solutions. Other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
11. Copyright & DMCA Policy
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent containing: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) the URL or location of the allegedly infringing material; (d) your contact information; (e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf. Send notices to [email protected]. We may terminate repeat infringers.
12. No Employment or Agency Relationship
GroomerJob is not an employer, employment agency, recruiter, or staffing service. We do not select applicants for, or place applicants with, employers. Any employment relationship that results from use of the Services is solely between the job seeker and the employer. You are responsible for conducting any background checks, reference checks, verifications, and interviews you consider necessary.
13. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GroomerJob disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or trade usage.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any content (including job listings, directory entries, salary data, reviews, or blog posts) is accurate, complete, current, or reliable. You use the Services at your own risk.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GROOMERJOB AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GroomerJob and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; or (d) your violation of the rights of any third party.
16. Termination & Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, or remove any User Content, at any time and for any reason, including if we suspect you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and miscellaneous provisions) will survive.
17. Dispute Resolution, Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
Please read this section carefully. It affects your rights.
Informal resolution. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by sending a written description of the dispute to [email protected]. We will try to resolve the dispute within 60 days of receipt.
Binding arbitration. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and GroomerJob agree to resolve any claim, dispute, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services through final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small-claims court if they qualify. The arbitration will be conducted in the English language, in the county where you reside (or by telephone or video at your option). Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class action waiver. You and GroomerJob agree that any dispute will be brought in an individual capacity only, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of representative proceeding.
30-day opt-out. You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by sending a written opt-out notice to [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. The notice must include your name, the email associated with your account (if any), and a clear statement that you want to opt out of arbitration.
18. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration provision above, the exclusive venue for any action permitted to be brought in court is the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
19. Changes to the Terms or Services
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice (for example, by posting a notice on the Site or emailing registered users). Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.
20. Third-Party Sites & Services
The Services may contain links to, or be integrated with, third-party websites, applications, or services, including GroomForce.com, employer career pages, and external job boards. We do not control and are not responsible for those third parties, their content, or their practices. Your use of a third-party site or service is at your own risk and is subject to the terms and privacy policies of that third party.
21. Electronic Communications
By using the Services or providing us with your email or mobile number, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including transactional emails (such as application confirmations), service notices, and, where permitted, marketing messages. You can opt out of marketing messages by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages; transactional messages may continue while you have an active account. Message and data rates may apply to SMS communications.
22. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other terms incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and GroomerJob regarding the Services.
Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Force Majeure. We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control.
Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
