About This Dog Groomer Position

Pupstate Pet Resort is looking for a skilled dog groomer to join their team in Piedmont, South Carolina. Key Responsibilities

• Bathe, dry, clip, and style dogs according to breed standards and owner preferences
• Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and de-shedding treatments
• Consult with pet parents about grooming styles, coat condition, and any health concerns
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming station
• Handle dogs safely and calmly, including anxious or reactive animals
• Track appointments and manage your daily grooming schedule

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional dog grooming experience
• Proficiency with clippers, shears, and high-velocity dryers
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely
• Strong communication skills with pet parents
